No aesthetic salon is complete without offering Microneedling treatments to their clients.
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). The therapist uses a professional Microneedling Pen with a disposable 12-pin cartridge. The needles vary in length from 0,25mm – 1mm and causes an injury that induces the body to respond through the formation of new tissue. In addition to inducing collagen, the channels made from the micro-needles allow topical serums to be absorbed more effectively through the top layer of skin. Generally 4 – 6 treatments are required to achieve the desired result.
This treatment has been used successfully to treat fine lines, wrinkles, lax and sun-damaged skin, to reduce the appearance of stretch marks, improve acne ice pick scars, and induce hair regrowth. It has also been used to tighten skin after weight-loss. It can be safely performed on all skin types and ethnicities.
The automated needling allows up to 2,600 micro-channels per second with precision skin needling control. The treatment is more efficient and less painful than traditional derma roller needling.
What can Microneedling do?

Reduce imperfections – Micro-needling promotes the production of collagen and elastin through the natural auto-repair mechanisms of the skin, reducing the appearance of imperfections.
Increased effectiveness of active ingredients – Micro-needling transports the active ingredients from your treatment into the deepest layers of the skin, essentially enhancing product effectiveness instantaneously.
Improved communication between skin cells – Sends out signals that increase the communication between the cells responsible for maintaining the barrier function, pigmentation, collagen and elastin in the skin.
